"Right from the packaging, the laser..."
Right from the packaging, the laser pointer wouldn’t fit into the mounting bracket since the threads were messed up. I dropped a message in their Facebook group, but it got taken down and I was warned about a ban. I’ve shot off a bunch of emails, but not a single response. Stay away from these folks, seriously. They’re trouble.

"Extremely Disappointing Experience"
I bought a couple of these over the past six months, one for me and another for a family member. We both had the same frustrating experience with them. We often take photos together, and honestly, these are just poorly designed and made. My advice? Only use it for super-widefield Milky Way landscape shots or time-lapse images, and stick to lenses no bigger than 18mm. The Move Shoot Move just can't handle anything heavier.
I've tried using both the laser pointer and polar scope for alignment, along with Polar Finder Pro. I also tested the V and Z adapters, which are just junk, and the little knobs for adjustments are a pain to use and hurt your hands. I even set it up on a $200 Benro 3 Gear tripod. I’ve experimented with 14mm, 24mm, 50mm, and 135mm lenses, but no luck. The mount struggles with the weight of a Canon 60d and Samyang 14mm lens unless it’s perfectly horizontal. Even a 20-30 second exposure turns out completely messed up.
It feels like it doesn’t track at the right speed, even when I set it to Sidereal rate with a full charge. In the six months I’ve been using it, I haven’t managed to get a single decent image. On the other hand, I’ve captured some stunning shots with a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer and my Sky-Watcher EQM-35 equatorial mount.
I suggest you save up a bit more and invest in a proper star tracker; you’ll be way... WAY happier. The only reason to get one of these would be if you’re strictly doing 14mm landscape Milky Way photography and need the lightest mount for a long hike. Even then, I doubt it’s worth the trouble.
Update: I posted this same review on MoveShootMove's site after they asked for my feedback, and it’s nowhere to be found. They only seem to publish positive reviews about their products. That says it all, doesn’t it?
